[aaus-list] Ukrainian poets in new anthology

Dear All,

For the sake of clarification, the just-published anthology _New European Poets_ from Graywolf Press actually contains work by 8 Ukrainian poets (besides Bilotserkivets', Pozayak, and Zabuzhko, there are also selections by Yuri Adrukhovych, Andrii Bondar, Oleh Lysheha, Viktor Neborak, and Serhii Zhadan). The translators are James Brasfield, Askold Melnyczuk, Valzhyna Mort (herself a Belarusian poet), Michael Naydan, Douglas Burnet Smith, Virlana Tkacz and Wanda Phipps, and yours truly. It is a major coup for contemporary Ukrainian poetry to be so extensively represented in an anthology by a prominent publisher, and this is indeed wonderful news for all fans of Ukrainian literature and poetry lovers.
