My name is Vadim Gorbach. I am not an AAUS member and, as your
preference strongly suggests, I will ask Max to have me excluded from
the list. My impression from messages that others post created a
perception that it is an intellectual but fairly informal list.

This said, I always support my "opinionated" conclusions with facts,
proper logic and reasonable, common-sense assumptions (not really
interested in illusions) that work well with open-minded, unprejudiced
people who are willing to examine the substance. On the most common
criticisms about my views on Tymoshenko, I do believe that there is an
overwhelming amount of evidence of an authoritarian management style,
non-democratic culture of BYuT and its anti-democratic election
rosters, incessant manipulation of the facts, irresponsible
short-sighted policies instead of real reforms. My main point is that
Ukrainians should stop voting for a lesser evil and vote against all
to let the new kind of politics emerge in Ukraine.

Today's gloomy reality of unlimited and unprecedented corruption in
Ukraine will soon become the subject of Ukrainian studies, as
president Yushchenko (while getting full endorsement from Winnipeg)
continues to undermine Ukrainian statehood on our watch -- of every
single one of us. And what do the most enlightened Ukrainians intend
to do about it?

The latest news from Ukraine. EURO-2012: Ukraine is on the brink of an
international scandal and national disgrace:

Thanks.
