The war is for the minds and souls of the Ukrainians - will they go with the
West or will they stay bound to Eurasian Russia. I don't suppose many people
on this list bother to read Russian newspapers that have appeared in recent
years and are published by the new immigrants from the former Soviet
republics. Their criticism of Yushchenko is mostly because of his alleged
hatred of Russia and his attempts to drive Ukraine away from Russia.
