Dear OSDs,

I agree. This is off topic. If it doesn't directly address Ukraine, 
Ukraine's international relations, or Ukrainian studies in the United 
States or elsewhere, then it doesn't belong on this list.

Second, I know the second OSD was ironic, but neither was 
appropriate. This is an organization-based scholarly list. All posts 
should have actual names for them. I'll be giving clearer direction 
to the list by the fall, once AAUS has worked out bylaws. In the 
meantime, please identify yourselves in posts to the list.
