All proceeds to benefit the USA/USA ,
a program that connects world-class Ukrainian students with world-class educational
institutions.
USA/USA is a Program of the Coordinating Committee to Aid Ukraine ,
501(c)(3)
--------------------------------------------------------
Background information
The USA/USA (Ukrainian Students'
Association in the United States) is a Program of the
Coordinating Committee to Aid Ukraine (USA), Inc., a 501(c)3
organization. Its mission is to help talented young Ukrainians receive a
world-class education and use it for the betterment of Ukraine .
To date, forty-six students have earned full four-year financial-aid packages
at leading Western universities as a direct result of this
Program. With an average scholarship to a leading college or university
over the Program's 16-year existence averaging about $35,000 a year, the USA/USA
is directly responsible for helping Ukrainian students win approximately $6.5
million to finance their studies. Countless other Ukrainians have
earned additional grants using the information and networking possibilities
provided by the Program.
Our event will have a fundraising element, and I hope the opportunity of
supporting us may interest you. The USA/USA Program is privately sponsored. In
the recent past, several alumni, private donors and financial organizations
have stepped up to support the work of the Program. We are currently
expanding our activities; thus, we are looking to work with new supporters who
believe in the benefits of Western education for young talents. Please kindly
review four levels of partnership with our donors:
Dedication
Level – $500
Silver Level — $2,500
Gold Level — $5,000
Platinum Level — $10,000
Our generous sponsors, Adrian J. Slywotzky and Christine Balko Slywotzky,
will match the first $60,000 of donations made or pledged at the event dollar
for dollar, turning the amount into $120,000. Please note that all
donations to the USA/USA Program are tax-deductible, and the levels of
partnership are cumulative. If you would like to make an immediate
pledge, please let us know at least a week before the event so that we could
recognize your generosity in the event program.
This year we are celebrating the 15-year anniversary since the first USA/USA
students have arrived to the United
States , so please come celebrate with us! I
am looking forward to our meeting in September!
Best regards,
Yevheniya Krutko
