Yes, thank you Vuhdeem, your reference to Solzhenitsyn explains it.

All I am doing is trying to counter an avalanche of one-sided,
incomplete information from washing my own brain, and, as a service to
critical thinking subscribers of this group, I post alternative
viewpoints from credible sources to this list to help inform better
judgment.

If you come across a non-credible source in my postings, please bring
it to my attention and I will be happy to explain my viewpoint with
rational arguments.

Your following message: "Dear Editor, please delete this "Vaddym" from
the Ukrainian studies email group. He is obviously a russian
provocateur, never has an objective attitude, always denigrates all
things Ukrainian and always praises things russian."

... shows sweeping generalizations on extremely sensitive personal
topics without any reference to any facts. Where did you do your Ph.D.
and in what major? I wonder what school teaches an intellectual
tradition of this sort.

Please be careful. There is a fine line between honesty and when you
can be called a patriot according to Joseph Goebbels, but not
Alexander Solzhenitsyn.

Also, it is not Vaddym, but Vuhddheem. You may also want to add a
middle name of your liking. Enjoy!

Vadim
