Re: Natalka's suggestion that we write a letter of protest is the normal
way to proceed. I am afraid, however, that such a letter from "foreigners"
and "dumb Canadians and Americans"  to the Ukrainian authorities will not
help much. What we should do is publish our protest on a very visible site
or in a widely read periodical in the West. I believe that it is time to
speak openly to the world about such atrocities in Ukraine.
