I am now into my third year of practice. I worked hard before medical school and owe less than most of my colleages, but still a substantial amount. Medicine is the only career that pays less each year yet demands a huge increase in malpractice each year. You spend most of your career doing paperwork, not patient care. IT SUCKS!!! I would warn all of my friends to go into something else. Investigate this well before you go into this thankless career that may pay you nothing for your hard work while you have thousands in loans to repay. I wish you luck!!!
