I would like to marry a lady from the Ukraine. She has lived
in the USA before when she was "married" to a man on a
"work Visa" L-1? I put married in quotes because I think it
was a common law marriage?
Her ex-husband is now a citizen of Israel and has
abandoned her. She is applying for divorce papers in the
Ukraine. She says they should be in soon.
Also while she has lived in the Ukraine for 10 yr. She has
a Russian passport. Would it be possible for her to go to
Warsaw instead of Moscow for her Visa interview?
If it was a common law marriage what will her
immigration records show? Is it possible to see what her
immigration status is currently? Do you have have any legal
experience in dealing with Ukrainian divorces? Do you
know any Ukrainian lawyers? Could you email me list list
of possible courses of action to per sue, question to ask her
and so forth.
