Do not worry! They are usually much nicer to foregners then to Ukrainians. ( I assumed that you are not Ukrainian) Do you plan to leave the laptop in Ukraine or bring it back?
Every time I bring a computer I declare it and go through a red line. (But I always plan to go back with the laptop.)
You must declare more than a 1000$ of cash you are bringing in. That's for sure.
