People who can't get Social Security numbers can get Taxpayer Identification Numbers (TINs). these can be used for tax purposes.
You should contact an immigration lawyer. Sometimes, there is a way to solve problems.
Good luck.
: I've been married to permanent resident for almost 3 years. This wouldn't allow me to have working permit, so I was using fake SS# and tax id# to file my taxes. My husband applied for a sitizenship last May, so hopefully he will get it by the next May. I have question now: would I have any problems in the future because of using unexisting SS#?
