This past year my wife and I hosted a very talented Student from the Karkiv School for the Blind. In our 25 yrs. as music educators we have never come across a student that posesses the ability and talent that this young lady has demonstrated. Yana's goal is to obtain her degree in Music Education so she may teach other vision handicapped students. Are there any Ukrainian foundations or organizations that have scholarship funds available for study in the USA?
Our Church is raising funds to offset the costs not covered by her scholarship we are still looking for additional funds.
