Du Ukrainian customs or Polish customs interrogate travelers to see if they are immigrating out of Ukraine? Of course, my wife has a legal right to do this, but I wondered if there has been any history of any difficulty with travel out of Ukraine into Poland for the interview.

: no you wont have any trouble going to warsaw and neither will your relatives, it is a common practice, and no one cares at all. however, if your motherinlaw wants to come to USA it might be difficult to get a visa from the American Embassy in Kiev. the interview in warsaw is a mere formality. no big deal, just make sure you have all the paperwork in order.
