You don't need to send an invitation for your mother. Simple letters with your and your mother addresses are enough to show in an american consulate. But there is such a detail as your work visa. An invitation for relatives would be accepted if it submitted by an american citizen. Nowadays it is a big problem to bring immediate relatives here even if you have a Green Card.
