: Because I received my extension letter late
: OR I was granted 1 month extension .

Hi, Sanjay, you should have consulted with an attorney what is better for you to do before applying first for B-2 extension on February,2002, then , second, you made a mistake to apply to change a nonimmigrant visa to a student status while your first application was in a process. The INS approved your F-1 visa while you already was out of status. It happens. Recall those who blew up Twins towers in New York. Their F-1 visas were approved afterwards. It was a big scandal. So, if you are single, get married american citizen . It is one option for illegal immigrant and only.
