You should have no problem receiving CPT sinse you have been full time student on an F-1 visa. However, you also should be able to get more specific answers from you foreign student advisor, or somebody else in your school who signs your F-1 form. The foreign student advisor can also help you with filing the required forms... I would actually suggest that you hurry up, since it takes some time to get everything processed before you can start working...
