Thank you - I know about the plugs - and as you say, the 220V electric blankets are not available here - I finally did find them made in Italy and sold in Italy and UK - but they won't ship to Ukraine. My friends are sort of "out in the woods" in southern Ukraine, so they are not available there - so finally I am buying an American 110V model, and sending that via Meest with a converter.
Thanks again for taking the time to answer. It's a cold winter in Ukraine this year, and I want my friends to be warm!
