: : : Ukraine does not allow dual citizenship. Accordingly, you may lose your Ukrainian citizenship automatically. I.e. if I am a Ukrainian prykordonnyk u aeroporti and I discover that you carry 2 passports, I have the right to confiscate your Ukrainian passport and put you on the plane back to Britain. This is, of course, an absolutely worst case scenario and, thus, is unlikely to happen but... take your time and review the Ukrainian legislation.

: : : : I have received British Citizenship and British passport recently. Do I have to give up my Ukrainian passport and use my British passport to travel to Ukraine? Are Ukrainians allowed double citizenship? Can I keep both passports?
: : : : Please let me know if you have any information.
: : : : Many thanks

: : Irisha, you can still go with both passports. I did it last year. You can arrive directly to Boryspil and show you UA passport. On your way back you better go to Poland first. No visa needed till July 1, 2003. Crossing the border show to both UA and PL officials your UA passport. Then in Okiencie (Warsaw airport) show your UK passport when you register for the flight and your UA passport when you leave Poland officially. That would make clean your entry/leave stamps. Upon arrival to UK display the UK passport.

: : Allegedly, you can play the same trick in Sheremetyevo. Seemingly, over there they don't give a damn.

: : Good luck,
: : Щасти!

: Tickets are usually sold return, also consider such an opportunity that you will be on mercy of some border soldat right on the middle of nowhere, not to mention those train toilets.
: And genarally, you feel like outlaw,if fact, Why?

You'll get return tickets from Warsaw (or Moscow)and a leg to Kiev. There is no mercy on the horizon since you still have your damn right to travel to Poland or Russia.

Outlaw? Formally you do violate a law of a country of your destination. That's your choice.

On a more positive side you may think about yourself as a fledging James Bond though :).

The whole thing is a nuisance no doubt. Do you ever cheat in your life?
