My daughter is 10 mo old, and we made her a passport about three months ago, paid around $70. We are going to travel to Ukraine this April-May too. I know that she definitely needs a visa, I will have to pay the application fee of $100, but the processing fee for her is waived, even for the multiple entry. But I am a Ukrainian citizen myself, maybe there is a chance you can get your baby's name put in your passport and make a visa only for yourself. You might need to call to the Ukrainian embassy: 202-333-0606. They are not too friendly there, but if you are persistent, they will give you all the info :) That's all I know, so far - will appreciate any advice too...
: My 8-months-old son and I are American citizens, we are planning to travel to the Ukraine. Does anybody know if the process for US passports for infants is the same as for adults. Also will my son need a separate Ukrainian visa to travel? If anyone had any experience travelling with infants to the Ukraine, I would really appreaciate if you shared with the board or write me personally. Thank you for all your help.
