I am sorry to tell this, but I believe that your wife had her planes made long time before you guys got married. She is not stupid woman, she knew what she was doing: she asked to sell the old house and to buy new one, so it will be obtained during the marriage and is a common property now. It is sad to say, but it is really true that a lot of Ukrainian women marry American men for only one reason: to leave Ukraine. It is ugly, but they must be really unhappy in Ukraine to do so.
You are very nice man and I am sure that one day you will meet a nice lady who will make you happy. You made a mistake, it will cost you a lot of money, but it is just money and you will make more. Just be more careful next time.
By the way, your snoring is not a reason for anything, it is just an excuse. I suggest you were snoring before you got married and during first 2 “happy” years, did not you? And nothing here is about the cultural difference.
This lady played a game with you, most likely she will win it, unless you will have a very good (read-very expansive lawyer. But as I said before, it is just money, you can make more.
I have my own story (it is not similar with yours ), I know stories of other people: women are using men, men are using women, etc. It happens every day. If you want to e-mail privately let me know.
