You should have informed your roomate about the conditions of the plant before touching it - Whether it was dead or not...
Now as to this continual growth of pot plants on your balcony this could be a bit of testy situation in your residence. These divchatka might be starting to put their territorial presence on the place... Bud' oberezhnyj!
First its the pot plants, next its your dirty dishes and then its your smelly undies...
I don't know how you goy into your living arrangements but it you keep it up and the start to be more interesting incidences then maybe Hollywood will get a kick of putting such stuff on the big screen...
