Thank you all who took the time to answer my question about cultural differences in American Man and Ukrainian wives. Several of you asked why an American would seek a wife outside USA and bring her over on Fiancee visa. Well I cant answer for every man, but I know that I have several friends who did so and are quite happy. I felt that maybe, just maybe a Ukrainian woman could be appreciative of what I could offer (Nope not a milionaire), and maybe could actually love me. This was after a string of bad USA girlfriends. I knew there was a chance of being used, but my hope was stringer than this. I know what I have to do, but it hurts and I still feel some responsibility towards her and her son. So I wont just leave them without some help. But that will end after about 3 years and she must then go on her own. Yet funny I still woould like to make things work. Pretty stupid huh. Well thats all. If anyone wants to talk further my email is listed. I would especially like to correspond with Russian/Ukrainian woman for advice.
