To all who answered my request for advice, thank you. Most seemed to believe that I am just being used, and several suggestions to protect my financial assets were made. Oxana suggests counseling. OXSANA I have asked her to go to counselor or Orthodox Priest with me and she refuses. She has made several acquaintances with other Russian/Ukranian women here in our town, and is very close friends with one in particular. I feel an obligation to her and her son to help them out if we divorce. I have decided to wait until the citizenship is finished then tell her to make a choice. This will not affect my finances too much since Ca. is a community property state. I will happily let her have the house and I will make the payments for 3 years. Then she can either sell it or take over the payments (She does work). In any event she can have it. I'll just take my retirement for the near future. What does everyone think ?
