I am petitioning for my parents to come to USA as immigrants. At this point I had to provide the Affidavit of Support to show that I will be able to support them. Although I will be, I would be interested to know if they have a right for anything when they enter this country, such as Medi-Cal, or may be pention after a certain time. I see many people just end up staying here after ther Visitors Visa expires, then go to the Lawyers and after paying a certain fee are not only deemed legaly living in USA, but get the Medi-Cal (or Medi-Care), SSI, Welfare and other benefits. Am I hurting my parents chances by trying to stay legal?
