I have several public questions for you and your student.
First, what is your objective? What is her objective? Is your objective for her to immigrate? Is it for her to study here and go back to Russia?
Where is she? If she is here in the USA, is she out of status? I was just contacted by a student who decided to jump ship from her J-1 Visa summer job. She found a job as a waitress. She is alone here and is already in community college in the NYC metropolitan area without any support from anyone!!! What can this student do for herself?
What are her objective tests? If she is studying English, what is her objective TOEFL? What are her SATs? How many years of university has she finished in Russia? What is she is studying?
I would have many more questions but I would ask you to answer these first.
