The reality is that if the Diaspora is not going to help and the student is going to have to fend for himself, it is my OBLIGATION to give the student a realistic assessment of the terrain.
It is discouraging to me to see all these opportunities for scholarships in general and Ukrainians could win millions of dollars in scholarships if the network of information sharing was better.
I have listed all the scholarships dedicated exclusively to Ukrainians that I could find on my website.

I hope to see more people like you in the Diaspora and not 'baniaks'(450mil Selfreliance is typical of those!). I am MA Student in Canada from Ukraine and I do not have any support from 'baniaks' here - only: "What are you doing here -Ukraine needs you","When are you going home?", "Why don't you attend our church?", "Why don't you make varenyky with us?". Nobody wants to see reality!I have to support myself - I have to work weekends to pay my bills! I'll get my degree and it is my choice what to do with it. I might stay in Canada, move back home or any other place on Earth.
