How can I help my mother convince immigration officers to let her into the US for a longer period (up to 3 months). What if a return ticket is bought for a later than 30 day period? I don't think that airport authorities can do anything with your mother's visa. My mother was visiting me last summer (almost for 2 month)and everything was alright(+ she didn't speak any english!).In fact, her B-2 visa validity was up to 6 month.
