unfortunately the ukrainian diaspora in Canada does not help anyone to immigrate from Ukraine. I got my permanent Resident status in Canada 3 years ago, doing everything myself, ukrainians that live here (who came here 40-60 years ago and their children) are opposed to immigration from Ukraine. It's sad. There is Ukrainian Immigrant Aid Society in Toronto, that can give you free advice, fill out your forms(for a fee), but that's all. If you need an advice, e-mail me directly at iviktor@hotmail.com, but there are no cultural organization or anything like that, that would give you a letter or show any support for you.
