There have been attempts at running such groups, but they have met with failure. Churches every so often try and get young people (or older ones) together at various events, but that also has met with only limited success.
One reasonably successful bunch was the Soyuzivka Singles, and it still might be functional, but from what I understand it rarely brings new people into the bunch.
But you're also right about one thing - I said long ago that if there are going to be dating agencies for men to seek women, there should be an equal opportunity for women to seek men. I can't say that it would work, however, since women tend ot have better common sense than to try and find emotional satisfaction in a man who's affectons were purchased on-line.

: I was just wondering if anyone knows of any associations of singles of Ukrainian descent? It seems there are a lot of options for men to meet Ukrainian women, but none for women.
