I'm not an attorney, but from my personal experience I know that the answer to your question is NO. If you only have a GC, after your marriage your wife can not automaticly have any legal status. Unless you have already applied for citizenship, and are able to obtain it soon, here are options for your fiance/wife

1) Extend her permission to stay, or change status to some other type of long-term non-immigrant visa, e.g. student.

2) Marry you, and go back home. You can then file a petition for her (I-130), and in ~3 yrs or when you get your citizenship, whichever comes first, she'll be able to get an immigrant visa and permanently come to the US.

I guess a lot depends on how quickly you can become a US citizen. Once you are US citizen, you'll have many more options.
