I had the same situation- I'm on H1B. This is not a simple question.As I've heard AOS 'll take you much longer than CP. I decided to have interview in Us Embassy. Probably that would be easier. But don't waist your time, because your interview date depends on your case number and date they recieve your applications.

: I am currently on an H1B and I won the DV03 lottery. The letter from the KY consulate mentioned the possibility of status adjustment vs going thru the process of interviewing at the US Embassy in Ukraine. However, my friend ran this idea by a couple of lawyers and they said that since the Texas processing center is backed up with adjustment of status applications from 03/2000, it's best to go thru the regular lottery winner process. Does anyone else have a similar situation and what seems to be the best option?
