I have gone through a similar process to the one you describe (I applied for a K-1 visa for my ex-wife. I had met her in Europe and petitioned for her to come here. It is much easier and faster to get a K-1 visa than a 1-130).
At the interview, they will ask your husband how you met, ask him to provide pictures showing you together (wedding, parties, etc.). At some consulates the scrutiny is much greater or less than at others. You just have to happen to be lucky and get a consulate official who is in a good mood. If so, he'll get the visa the same day I believe. The US government wants to see people who are in love come to live together in the US. They cannot turn down your husband a visa unless they suspect fraud. Of course, you yourself know if you love him and he loves you, and if you truly love each other you will eventually get the visa.

: Hi, my name is Anna. I'm a constant observer and user of the board. I got married in Ukraine 6 mo. ago. I filed I130 petition in US to bring my husband here. My petition was approved, the INS sent info to NVC and now I'm waiting to hear from them. I understand that my husband is going to be interviewed at a US Consulate in Warsaw before his visa is granted. (I did not petition him for K3 Visa, just immigrant visa). Did anyone using this board went thru the same process and what did it involve?
