Dear Sir,
Hope I find you in good health and happiness. How are you? I'm fine.
I'm now mailing you to ask you for a help. Yes, it is about my education. From childhood I wanted to become a doctor very badly. This was thought in a great service oriented way. But due to some reasons and obstacles, I missed and I could not do medicine. The price of joining a donation college is quite high in our country. Though I could get sufficient marks in the exams to get such a seat through paying a donation, I could not afford it.
But still the ambition to pursue medicine still exists in me.
I hold a 3 year BSc in Botany, Zoology and Chemistry with lab and prior to it , I hold a 2 year premedical in Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry with lab. Later after BSc , I have
a 2 year Diploma in Physiotherapy and a 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications. Simultaneously I have 3 years of experience in software.
All these years through Bsc and software and Physiotherapy, I tried hard for medical entrances, but missed narrowly by a few marks or missed due to some calamity and dangerous circumstances right during the moment of examination etc,, or some inexpressable reasons. If not I would have easily joined medicine and finished it. But I deserved it badly.I'm calm and peaceful always, yet I feel my mind will be settled if I pursue the medical degree. Apart from these failures to get into
medical career, I suffered otherwise too. Even when I applied for a H1 to US, I could not get the papers as the market came down suddenly. Recently too I had a H1 offer, but it did not work out.
So apart from suffering badly, I suffered a lot as I was unable to get into medicine.
In india the course takes a long period of 6 years approxiamately. I know about the US MD and the way it takes through MCAT and other things, complicates it. I have seen the
Medical programs offering preclinical in St Lucia and then clinicals in US hospitals. They are fast track. The St Lucia MD program can be completed in 3 years. Since I have Bsc and such
back ground, the other program which offers preclinicals in my place and clinicals in US offers its option by giving me credits and allowing me to do it in 3 and a half years.
These options of 3 and 3 and a half years of the MD programs give me a lot of joy, as I could do them soon, but I dont have sufficient money to pursue them. If you can be of any
help, I would be very glad. If you know any sponsors too, it would be a great help if my education is funded. If I can get about
$40000 (which covers the fees for the course), I can pursue it dear. This may be a very peculiar way of asking you, but pardon me if you feel the other way. Please help me.You are the first one
I'm asking this way. Hope to see your sweet reply . Take care.
Best wishes. Thanking you.
Best regards,
Sharath Chandra
