Hi, maybe anybody knows about this matter and can share his/her experience with me. I am on a K-1 visa. I have already married my boy-friend and filed for AOS and employment authorization document. My visa expires on June, 8. I would like to apply for a social secutiry number. Is it sufficient to bring in a passport with unexpired I-94 and marriage certificate or the number will be issued only if employment authorization document is provided? I'm at a loss here, i contacted SSA and INS office repeatedly and i received contradictory information all the time. Real stories are sometimes more helpful. Thanks in advance
