hello,
I am writing on my sister-in-laws behalf. She met her husband on the internet through one of those Ukraine/American man connection sites. She came to American, found out he lied about a lot of stuff, he got her pregant to keep her there, she does not know her rights. She is married to him, 1 yr old daughter and in Dec borrowed money from a friend for a ticket back to Ukraine. He said she can go and visit but its been months 4 and she does not want to go back. He does not seem to care and has no contact her or the baby but she is worried that if she asked for her belonging he will try to take the baby. She would like to know what her rights are? she is NOT a US citizen but her baby is! Can her take the baby? can she file for divorce? what are her rights? child support? she does not want to go back to him, he was horrible and she knows now she made a mistake.
