: I am changing status from f1 to H1 now, yesterday I realized that there is something called AR-11 for change of address which I didnt do earlier, I did however change the address with secretory of state. I actually stayed in the same school but moved to different apt complex. Does it have any negative impact on my H1 petion. I would apprecite your help. thanks

If youe employer has already filed the H-1B visa petition, was your new address on the petition? If so, you've changed your address with the INS. There is no need to file any additional forms. If your new address is not on the visa petition, then you do need to send in an address change.
If the visa petition has not yet been filed, simply make sure that your correct address is on it.
If an attorney is handling the visa petition, simply give the attorney you new address and make sure that it is on the form before your employer signs it.
If you have any other questions, please write to me directly. If you want, I will give you my telephone number, so that you can call me. I am an immigration lawyer, and I speak Ukrainian.
Good luck.
