Hello!
My husband and I are arriving in NY City on 2 June 2002. Is there any possibility to find some place to live in for the first week (or maybe longer, if we like the place) until we can find sth else. As you can understand, we cannot afford to stay in a hotel :( I know we should look at the room before we move there, but what I am worried about now is the first, maybe the second nights in a new place. I would be grateful for any information/advice on the topic, including where we can go at first, or some people/organizations we can contact and arrange sth, at a pinch - whether it is possible to live in a tent somewhere in a park :)
