: I hope somebody can help me. I’m studying at the University in the USA and I’m’ on F-1 visa. My visa F-1 is still valid for one year but now after a school I got a change to change F-1 Visa on Religious visa.
: This summer I’m going to go to Ukraine with my F-1 visa and at the same time I want to apply for getting Religious visa.
: Do you think, on my way back to the USA I will have a problem because I apply for Religious Visa when my F-1 visa is still valid. On the border, should I tell them that I apply for Religious visa or it would be better to say that after finishing the school I will go back to Ukraine. I hope that they don’t have in computer that I apply on R-1 visa.
: Thank you for any answers.

Your question is very confusing. If you want to, write to me, and I will try to answer your question, once it's clear what you are asking. I will not, however, answer your questions on the board. Have you received a change of status, or are you applying for it, or do you want to apply for it? If you have received it, from when is the change effective?
