Have you got anywhere with getting the visa for your girlfriend? If not drop me a line I may be able to help put you in contact with some people who can help. By the way the reply you had saying there is no such thing as a fiancee visa is wrong! There are spouse and fiancee visas available for the UK, but they may not be the best one to apply for. I am currently in the process of getting my Ukranian fiancee a visa to come to the UK and have help from a company in the UK that deals with this all the time.
