The children of your husband are your legal stepchildren. If you were married before your husband's children turned 18, then your step-children who are under 21 can and should be inncluded in the application. If you win, and if you choose to apply for permanent residence, it is possible that a question may arise regarding the existence of a true parent-child relationship between you and the children.
