You are obviously a new person in this country and probably never visit churches here (which is nothing to be proud of). Having this kind of activities is a good idea. People dance, relax, and meet others and the money they pay for that go to charity and church fund. It takes place in Western Europe too as I know from my experience. I always visit zabava for both reasons - fun and charity.
