I am a Ukrainian citizen and a permanent resident of the U.S. and I would like to invite my mother in Ukraine to visit America for three months. I know that she needs to fill out a visa application form, but the U.S. Embassy in Kiev doesn't say anything about a letter of invitation or affidavit of support. I don't know how to write a letter of inviation. Would somebody please post a sample letter of invitation for B-2 visa application? Also I am wondering if I really need to send an affidavit of support and bank statement, etc to be attached to the invitation.
