: : Does anybody know what is required for travelling to Ukraine with I-20?
: : I have I-94 instead of F-1 visa. Does it mean that when in Ukraine I will have to go to the Embassy and open the visa there, so that I can enter the US?
: Yes, without the visa you will not be able to enter US. I-20 should be present along with valid visa.
: : I also heard that sometimes it's better to go to Mexico or Canada to open the visa there, so that there won't be any problems with Ukrainian officials.
: It's not true and it is the same in Mexico
: or Ukraine in terms of getting visa stamped
: in your passport while having valid I-20 in your hands.

: In US embassy in Kyiv there are no Ukrainian officials just an just American ones so the only problems you may get in Kyiv are from them.
: : Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Arsen, so have you travelled yourself? Do you know anything about it and whether there might be any problems with getting out of Ukraine?
Thanks, Natalia
