Galina. I belong to the Houston INS district and it is very true about time that it takes to file the adjustment of status here. Try to do it as fast as you can, it will save you a lot nerves.
I also have a question, how did you obtain your working permission on F1? Did you have to file the proof of financial hardship? And how hard was it to get? Please, advice me on that.
