It should be 6 months after intitial visa free entry. All other 6 month translations are wrong. I think the confusion is with the previous visit within the last 6 months. It should have translated to: No visa is needed if stay is less than 90 days and last visa FREE visit was less than 6 months. So in order for any of this to apply, you will need to enter the first time visa free, and then all of this takes effect. So the first trip is a gimme.
