Has anybody actually travelled to Ukraine without a visa and been admitted? What are the immigration officals doing at the Boryspil airport? The presidential decree as worded would only allow a U.S. citizen to return within 6 months from the prior trip. What has been the experience of someone who has travelled since July 1?

: And a response from KLM/NWA recieved 7/25/2005:

: According to the latest information available, you will need to bring your normal passport. However, as you mentioned, a travel visa is no
: longer required for visits limited to 90 days, or less. It is also stated that you may be asked to show a legitimate invitation from an
: official sponsor in Ukraine, depending on your business there.

: So it's all pretty clear to me. No visa for Americans necessary if stay is less than 90 days during any 6 month period.
