Affidavit of support is used for immigration purposes only (form I-134 for Diversity Visa lottery winners, form I-485 for sponsoring relatives wishing to immigrate to the USA).
You may provide your friend with a letter from your employer stating your current position and salary. Another option - your paystabs, bank statement, tax returns.... But I think such information is rather confidential.
If I were you, I would write a letter to yout friend and mention somewhere in it that you work at ..... as ......You enjoy your job and your salary of..... is enough for ......as well as to take a good care of your friend and her trips to ...... Hope you get my point.
Remember to tell your friend about your status in the USA. If you came to the USA on a visitor's visa and remained in the country.... then there is no hope for your friend.
