Have you heard about any Ukrainian laws that prohibit citizens from other countries owing property in Ukraine? I'd think that, say, an American-born person can just go and purchase whatever he or she wants in Ukraine, right? Ukraine is supposed to be (sort of) free democratic country by now... Then it should not be different for naturalized American citizens or anybody else who loses Ukrainian citizenship.
