It is very strange that you are asking this question. Your parent or parents must tell you what to do. Usually kids are not going back to Ukraine. You can acquire U.S. citizenship with your parents before 18 or you can apply for U.S. citizenship when you turn 18. In Ukraine overwhelming majority of draftees are looking how to skip the draft using deferment, pretending to be too sick to be drafted. Only about 10% of eligible are drafted.
Evenly if you are drafted you, probably, will end up teaching English. Anyway, I don’t recommend you been too patriotic and come to this.
: I'm a fifteen year old boy living in Washington. When I turn sixteen my passport expires and I will have to return to Ukraine to get a new one, unfortunately I recently received a letter saying that I was going to be on a list of eligible draftees, and any attempts to obtain a new passport might be viewed as an attempt to dodge the draft. My problem with this is that I can barely speak Ukrainian after having lived here for eleven years. Does anyone have suggestions about what to do?
