Call the Consulate between 3pm-4pm Chicago time. Then, press #24 or #25 to get thru to somebody.
: That's right. I've submitted documents for stamp PMP 2 years ago. They accepted the documents but no response since. By law they have to respond during 3 months. Without this stupid stamp you can not to be register in the Consulate, nor submit any documents, including Petition to abandon the citizenship. If you ever tried to call to Chicago Consulate - tell me how many times you was able to actually talk to the real person? Information on the WEB site haven't been updated for 3 years... The only way is to go there in person... But what if you can't?
